Courtroom Security
8:00 am - 5:00 pm

“Basic Components of Courthouse Security”
A ‘Practical’ Approach to Addressing Security Risks in ‘Your’ Community Prepared Especially for Law Enforcement; Jailers; Judges; District and County Clerks and their Staffs; Prosecutors, Probation Officers; County Commissioners and other County Officials/Tenants of the Courthouse.
 
Attendance is ‘restricted’ to those who have
“A Need to Know.”  All Law Enforcement Officers/Jailers; Elected Officials; Department Heads; Employees in the Courthouse or individuals ‘directly’ involved in Courthouse Activities; and City and School Officials qualify and are invited.

Responsibilities of a Civil Process Officer and Potential Liabilities - 2 hrs
The Texas Homestead Law (What property is protected and what's not) - 2 hrs
Separate, Community and Mixed Property // Common Law Marriages - 1/2 hr
Writs of Attachment for both Individuals and Property - 1 hr
Writs of Garnishment -1/2 hr
 Writs of Execution -2 hrs
