targets of "terrorist, the mentally ill and common criminals. Prepared Especially for Law Enforcement; Jailers; Judges;

Commissioners all Elected Official/Courthouse Tenants and their staffs
and School Security Officers.
Attendance is ‘restricted’ to those who have “A Need to Know.”

Courthouse Activities; and City and School Officials qualify and are
invited.

To provide a basic understanding of how
to use communication techniques to de-escalate situations involving
individuals in serious mental health crises to the point where you can
safely get them under control.
Topics discussed are:

Suicide, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Psychopharmacology, Legal
Aspects, Domestic Disturbances, Autism, Mental Retardation, Alzheimer’s
Disease, and Strategies & Possible Challenges.
